Catharsis

When I went up to bed it was a gentle pitter-patter, but somewhere around 2 am the rain drummed me into wakefulness. It's doing a Buddy Rich number on the metal gutters of the house. This ain't no finger-snapping, toe-tapping tune, this is just Mother Nature wailing away.
